I got the airplane ticket, I got the money, I got my stuff packed, all that remained was to find an accomodation for the first few weeks. Everything was ready for the Big Move, I even set up a news site, so the details won’t clutter this place.
Then all of it was blown to pieces, when I got a call last Saturday – 2nd of August, early morning -, and I went to an interview right next Monday. The offer was too good, the job sounded exciting and interesting and the company is a pretty well known one. So, to make a short story shorter, I signed up with MSCI Barra for the next six months as a business analyst.
If you ask what about my plans of working in the UK, all I can say is that working with this company will certainly make it easier in every way. So for now, moving is postponed. And I got a lot of interesting stuff ahead of me.
Life is good, and gives you all the help you need. Just have to move, and grab it.
i'm glad the help appeared for you! i hope things will develop as nicely when i start eyeing scotland more seriously… congrats!
I'm sure this is a worthwhile change of plan that, as you say, will help bolster any plans to work in the UK. You never know, this was probably meant to happen. In the future you may look back on this opportunity as key to more longer term plans.
It is eerily in line with my plans, the first 2 months project and this one draws a perfect line, similar subjects from different angles.
And people say there is nothing logical in ones life. I will start to believe in destiny.
Awesome babe! I hope this job is everything you want it to be. It certainly sounds like you're pretty excited and happy about it, so I think a short postponement of your move to the UK is just a short delay that will result in rewards reaped later.
Thank you :) I don't doubt that some things will turn up for you too :)
Thank you. If I don't mess it up, it will help a lot :)
Congratulations again Roland! All things happen as they should. This is good news and I am glad that you are the type of person who is not afraid to let go of plans and grab opportunity when it knocks!
