The site looks good, powered by amazon.com, so I think it is pretty valid and usable.

I don’t agree with everything they write about toys made in China, at least I think there are toys that are well made, it’s just those are hard to find, and probably won’t have a “world-brand” label on them.

And for the dangerous substances and quality of material – last time when the world gone on blaming China for the toxic lead on the toys, it turned out that Mattel was the culprit, the chinese used the exact materials Mattel specified to be used.

The problem, Mattel’s Eckert said again and again, was in design, not manufacturing.

So yes, chinese products can be shoddy and dangerous, but it’s not always the chinese who should be blamed – if you buy the cheapest labour and cheapest materials possible, like western companies in China do, don’t expect the highest quality.

Anyways, head over to Toys not made in China, or to a toystore where they sell locally made toys, and get your toys there.
